The Montreal II model released in 1977 was one of Onitsuka Tiger's first shoes explicitly designed for jogging. The original model was offered in eye-catching colors, a novel idea at the time. It is then we begin to see appreciation of vibrant colored shoes by athletes and novice joggers alike. Reproduced for the first time, we paid special attention to the unique archival details. From the distinctive rolled-up sole to vivid colored uppers, the MOAL 77 style has been reproduced as part of the NIPPON MADE series. The rubber outsole features a reproduction of herringbone pattern inspired by the 1976 archive model. Outer sole is made of rubber sponge and sock liner is equipped with the GEL technology for superior cushion and comfort
